ARRIVEE EN PRINCIPAUTE DE MONACO ARRIVAL IN PRINCIPALITY OF MONACO

Chers Amis,
Et oui, la formidable aventure humaine du "TOUR d'EUROPE 2008" est terminée et pour moi c'est l'occasion de remercier toutes les personnes qui ont contribué de près ou de loin à son succès.
Depuis le 3 février 2008, j'ai eu le plaisir de côtoyer certaines et certains d'entre vous.
Je tiens, à cette occasion, vous dire un grand "MERCI".
Un grand "MERCI" pour m'avoir tendu la main et de m'avoir fait confiance sans me connaître en me transportant dans votre véhicule, en m'offrant un verre de l'amitié ou un repas et lorsque cela a été possible vous m'avez offert votre maison pour m'héberger !! Ces moments resteront à jamais gravés dans mon cœur.
Mes remerciements s'adressent à toutes les personnes qui pendant toute la préparation à ce voyage ont cru en moi en me soutenant en faisant un don au profit de l'Association Athina Ichtyose Monaco (intégralement versé pour la recherche médicale). Merci aussi à toutes les personnes qui m'ont soutenu pendant le périple en m'adressant des messages électroniques pour prendre de mes nouvelles ou m'encourager.
Merci d'être venu si nombreux, en ce 4 janvier 2009 (jour de l'arrivée), m'accueillir sur le Port de Monaco.
Merci à Monsieur Paul MASSERON, Conseiller de Gouvernement pour l'Intérieur, pour avoir autorisé l'arrivée et l'occupation de la Darse Nord du port de la Principauté de Monaco.
Enfin, merci à Monsieur Georges MARSAN, Maire de Monaco, et à son équipe municipale pour avoir veillé à ce que l'arrivée se passe dans les meilleures conditions de sécurité.
Toute ceci pour vous dire que le succès du TOUR d'EUROPE 2008 vous revient à vous toutes et à vous tous.
Sans votre soutien... rien n'aurait été possible.
Ce fut pour moi une fantastique et extraordinaire expérience humaine... et j'encourage toutes les personnes qui ont un rêve (quel qu'il soit).... d'essayer de mettre tout en œuvre pour le réaliser !!

Yes, the tremendous human adventure of the " TOUR of EUROPE 2008 " is finished and for me it is the opportunity to thank all the persons who contributed closely or by far to its success. Since February 3rd, 2008, I had the pleasure to meet some of you.
I would like to say to you a big "THANK YOU".
A big "THANK YOU" to have held out to me the hand and to have relied on me without knowing me by transporting me in your vehicle, by offering me a glass of the friendship or a meal and when it was possible you offered me your house to accommodate me !!
I will never forget these moments.

My thanks are addressed to all the persons who during all the preparation for this journey believed in me by supporting me by donating for the benefit of the Association Athina Ichtyose Monaco (entirely paid for the medical research). Thank you also to all the persons who supported me during the trip by sending me electronic messages to set of my news or encourage me.
Thank you for your presence in this January 4th, 2009 (in the daytime of the arrival), to welcome me on the harbour of Monaco.

Thank you to Mr Paul MASSERON, Government Counsellor for the Interior, to have authorized the arrival in the Principality of Monaco.
Finally, thank you to Mr Georges MARSAN, Mayor of Monaco, and to his municipal team to enable that the arrival takes place in the best conditions of security.
All this to say that the success of the TOUR of EUROPE 2008 is YOURS !!
Without your support nothing would have been possible.
It was for me a fantastic and extraordinary human experience and I encourage all the persons who have a dream (whatever it is) to try to make everything to realize it !!
